We’re pleased to draw close attention to Karin Anderson’s breach, an arresting book of introspection and subtle angst that we released in early December. Karin is a contributing editor at Fiddleblack, as well as a brilliant educator, storyteller, and post-structuralist. We’ve been watching as her book has steadily reached audiences in Salt Lake City (where much of the narrative is set) and beyond. Copies are available for sale through us or via Amazon.

An excerpt, titled “Hospice,” from Karin’s book will be published in next week’s Fiddleblack #15. Later this month, we plan to refer you to an interview with Karin conducted by Minnesota State University, Mankato’s public radio station KMSU 89.7 FM. In addition, Karin will be reading an excerpt from breach at the 2014 AWP Conference & Bookfair. Karin’s reading will be hosted by the Saranac Review’s 10th anniversary gathering.

AWP-goers—if you’re a fan of Fiddleblack in any capacity, we recommend that you attend!
